***UK/EU FOLKS - DRUNKEN SAILOR PRESS AVAIILABLE TOO*** On June 5th, 2019, Anti Fade records announced release plans for the debut record from Geelong stadium rock band, Cereal Killer. The record is said to hit shelves in stores around the globe on June 28th. ‘The Beginning & End Of Cereal Killer” is the band’s first full length album to date and also their last release since 2016’s, “Demo’s EP”. The album was recorded over six weeks of tracking in the famous Geelong studios, “The Barracks”, before calling upon mastermind Mikey Young to sail his yacht across the bay and put his much practised mixing techniques into full effect. The result is mind-blowing. Cereal Killer gained worldwide success in 2016 after their headline performances at Glastonbury and Coachella festivals where they blew away hundred’s of thousands of adorning fans and reached international stardom. The band have not performed since 2018’s Old Bar show on August 17, in which a predicted 7,000 screaming fans crammed into the building. However, rumours of an album launch on August the 3rd this year are emerging, and tickets are predicted to sell out within the first hour of sale. "The Beginning & End Of Cereal Killer” will be out on all digital platforms from June 28. There will also be a limited edition vinyl pressing available in Australia through Anti Fade Records and in UK/EU through Drunken Sailor Records.
Over the past half-decade Hattiesburg, MS has become a perhaps unlikely center of the international punk scene, a highlight on any band's journey through the American South. Judy and her Jerks are one of the groups at the hub of it all and it's easy to see why — their modern take on a lean, tight, and tuff USHC sound is catchy (CIRCLE JERKS are kin in not just name alone) and their enthusiasm for this music and each other is contagious. After a series of self-released tapes and comp appearances, this is their vinyl debut, as well as the overdue first record to be released from the modern-day Hattiesburg punk scene. Limited to 400 copies on black vinyl.
The first album by Minima, a new band comprising of members of No, Una Bestia Incontrolable, Snor and Barcelona is full of the kind of choice punk you'd expect of such a pedigree: jabbing riffs thrumming out, buzzed up with an insistent pull, clipped clattering beats pinning it down, vocals delivered with a potent snarl, accusatory and savage. From fizzing pogo of 'Adolescente', to 'Cicatriz's threatening hum, the whole album strikes a sharp balance between the big-riffing hardcore of someone like Glue or Nekra, and the Catalan / Spanish primitive-punk lineage that runs from Qloaqa Letal to dirt-raw rippers Pinen. Seven KC mavericks deliver a transcendent rock record for the working class. It’s a brew of punk, new wave, the chili peppers and thanks to the professional sax player even krautrock and jazz. The band is DIALED IN. Rock solid performance throughout, take the Iron Maiden harmonizing in “The Hammer” or the spectacular psychedelic sax noodling on “Holes in the Crust” as a couple bits in a pile of nuggets. Black Randy and Big Boys taught us to love Upbeat Danceable Hard Hat Rock and now Nat Man is respectably holding that torch very high. They’ve checked all the boxes - great sound, great songs, great lyrics, great artwork. LR is thrilled to bring you this truly incredible record.

You're being urgently, naughtily rushed up the tallest, steepest stairs you've ever climbed. Smile cautiously as the Uranium Club welcomes you into their stinky apartment. You've been here before, right? Oh, that must have been some one else. Do you have a brother or sister? One of the members mumbles some deceptively eloquent bullshit as he hands you a drink. His lips are dark red and chapped; he looks really bad. But the drink is wet, and those stairs had been tall. Sit down, lean back, sip it. There's salt in it, some pulp, some pebbles. It rolls around your tongue, hides between your teeth, a perfectly TV-worthy combination of pleasure and mischief. Swallow it. But spit it out... Spit it out now! It's supposed to go into your ears! How crazy is that? Such a sensation of taste, transmogrified for the realm of sound? Is it Sprite, or is it... music? Careful, engaging, and dare-I-say theatrical vocals over hyper bass-and-drums while other boingy-boingy instruments puke all over it, all over the whole show. That's called synesthesia. Gentle lectures, dangerous storytime, eerie fast-and-slow nightmare riffs, and a taut, bound-and-gagged rhythm section. Boingily-boingily, that's phantasmagoria. That's the Uranium Club's latest album, "The Cosmo Cleaners." So swish around some mouthwash and plug in your AirPods, kid, it's time to drop that needle!
