Fudge Sandwich
Ty Segall is a fan of music. He lives in Los Angeles, but has lived in San Francisco and Laguna Beach. Ty is obsessed with ceviche and loves being outside. He is 31 years old. For fun, he recorded a covers album of songs he loves. This includes songs by Amon Düül II, John Lennon, Sparks, War, Funkadelic, Rudimentary Peni, Grateful Dead, Spencer Davis Group, and more. Ty loves so many songs. This particular covers collection is called Fudge Sandwich, and the album art (see below) has a picture of a fudge sandwich on it. He hopes you like it. If you don’t, it’s ok because he really just made it for fun. Ty is currently taking his dog, Fanny, for a walk.
It’s not Ty’s version of the song - it’s him exploring the collective psyche of each track and re-assembling them.

Ty Segall is a restless, erudite insomniac. Since January of 2018, Segall has dropped two full-length studio albums. Freedom's Goblin, a monstrous solo effort, and Joy, a full length with longtime creative buddy White Fence.
The first bite of Ty Segall’s covers LP 'Fudge Sandwich' where he takes on tracks by John Lennon and The Grateful Dead is tasty enough. The rest? Less so.
Generally speaking, covers albums aren't supposed to be grand creative statements; often an artist is simply bragging about their record collection.
Ty Segall breathes a lot of new life int his covers in our review of the often heavy but rarely boring new album 'Fudge Sandwich'
