The Magic Gang (Deluxe)
The Magic Gang’s debut was recorded with the band already guitar royalty approved. Having been signed to the record label of The Maccabees’ guitarist Felix White and invited to support Wolf Alice on a European tour, the Brighton quartet were set on a flightpath to UK alt-rock fame. Here, they justify that patronage with a collection of vibrant, sure-footed anthems loaded with energetic hooks and stomach-somersaulting intimacy. Always daring to be playful, they swap vocals between bandmates and transition seamlessly from effervescent slacker pop (\"All This Way”) to taut rock (“Getting Along”).
The Brighton foursome cast their spell with great success on their long-awaited self-titled debut.
