Five albums into their career -- or six, depending on whether or not you count the limited-edition Nightfreak and the Sons of Becker, which the band apparently doesn't -- the Coral find themselves as close as they've ever come to the "mainstream" with Butterfly House.
The Coral keep making the same record over and over again. If you're into sea shanties with great harmonies, then you're in luck. The Coral has turned that blueprint around for the sixth time on The Butterfly House.
Butterfly House is without doubt the band’s most mature work to date, and perhaps they’re most polished too.
