The UK producer Kevin Martin's teaser to Angels & Devils, his first LP as the Bug since 2008's excellent London Zoo, is a five-song EP that features guest spots from Danny Brown, Kiki Hitomi, Flowdan, and Daddy Freddy.

A noise-loving rocker switched on to extreme sounds in the halcyon days of post-punk, Martin’s holy dedication to low-end now manifests itself in two dancehall and dub-influenced projects, The Bug and King Midas Sound.

He's still emperor of the territory where tough dub soundsystem beats meet dirty ragga and hip-hop vocals, his reign only briefly marred by the fact that since the seminal London Zoo emerged, a slew of imitators have pillaged The Bug's sound and vibe, leaving the tracks on Filthy sounding a little less unique
