Yoko Ono turned 80 in 2013, and to celebrate she recorded her latest album with the always-elastic Plastic Ono Band. While her music has never fit with Top 40 ideas of pop music, it\'s long found an appreciative audience among avant-garde fans—as well as with closer-to-the-mainstream musicians who\'ve integrated her ideas into more conventional structures. Much like her previous album, *Between My Head and the Sky*, *Take Me to the Land of Hell* is more fun and accessible than many of her \'70s works. Her uptempo efforts work well with the aggressive grooves. Lenny Kravitz’s guitar plays alongside “Cheshire Cat Cry.” tUnEyArDs contributes to “TABETAI.” Produced by Ono, Sean Lennon, and Yuka Honda and featuring Nels Cline, Questlove, and Andrew Wyatt, as well as collaborators Cornelius and Cibo Matto and remixers Mike D, Ad-Rock, and Keigo Oyamada, *Take Me to the Land of Hell* is a star-studded celebration.
