Southern Hip Hop Experimental Hip Hop Cloud Rap

OS-??? In Feb 2013, Viper released "I Have the Best Piece and Chain Ever Made", much better known as "Kill Urself My Man", which retrospectively serves as a sister album to this album. One song, "Can't Stop Me From Snowbirdin'" reappears on this album. In May 2013, You'll Cowards Don't Even Smoke Crack and Viper at large was discovered by /mu/ and various college outlets, who began reporting on him. After releasing nine albums of full length material, and arguably a tenth, his eleventh, "Rich and NOT Famous", was the first album he released, funnily enough, after he became infamous for his character and music. Rich and NOT Famous at its heart is a contradiction - essentially the closest Viper ever got to creating a pop rap album next to Hustlin' Thick, and one of his most experimental works at the exact same time. There are songs where Viper never stops rapping at full tempo, and half-fools you into thinking he's mainstream ("Rich and Not Famous"), and songs where Viper wails at full-autotune for a full five minutes ala. Kanye Yeezus-style ("Fake Rappers"). Viper's energy is full focus here. Essentially cloud rap in the same way 6 Kiss is. If you've ever heard Viper's duplicate albums, chances are you've heard a song from here manipulated - I don't know why but this album is by far Viper's favourite choice for rerelease. Originally released 8 July 2013.
