"Like All Mornings" is the newest program from Vanessa Amara, released as a double cassette with more than 70 minutes divided over the four sides of tape. "Like All Mornings" is Vanessa Amara at their most sparse. The 15 pieces are almost solely composed of piano loops and feedback. The minimal instrumentation and composition makes it a no less powerful and immersive experience. Compared to the earlier work on both "You’re Welcome Here” and “Both of Us / King Machine” there is a lot more space in these new pieces and they flow one after the other with a care free quality to them. It feels like they are happy to exist in their own right regardless if someone is in the room to listen to them or not. There are few projects in current Scandinavia that hold the standard of Vanessa Amara and “Like All Mornings” is further proof of their excellence performed with the most delicate gesture.
