Since the 2013 release of Last of the Big Time Spenders, Turner Cody has performed in Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, London, NYC, and Rock Island Illinois. His new record Plans and Schemes is a selection of his favorite tunes of the last five years. "Memories of You" and "Deep in the Heart of Brooklyn" are staples of his live set. New York City drumming legend Parker Kindred lends his skills to "Hold On To", "The Loneliness Is Awful", and "So Alone". Plans and Schemes displays Cody's unique lyrical voice and chronicles themes of isolation and alienation. "I've been playing the electric guitar live for the past five years and wanted to capture that sound on wax. I was thinking about Lou Reed, Steely Dan, and JJ Cale in conceiving the textures for this record. Those guys set a high bar and going back to them helped me make was I think is my best record so far." -Turner Cody
