One year after his EP "100" on 1Ø PILLS MATE, Trudge comes back this time for his first self release called "Nocturnal Animals". The opener 'Fingers Crossed, Pt. 2' starts the journey with an ambient track with melancholic but hopeful pads. It follows Part 1 released earlier on Of Paradise, sadder and more percussive. The next one, 'Last Ceremony Until I Die' is the result of a complex experimentation linking several different genres of music. The sometimes frightening atmosphere of this one makes the track almost unique. It is headed by a piano line that is reminiscent of some of Miyazaki's animated films. This track is already available physically on Nebulae Records. Then come 'Nocturnal Animals' the climax of the EP. Trudge here is inspired by UK vibes to create his own identity in Burial's like UK Garage. But you still can easily recognize the typical Trudge's gliding pads and high arps. The track is followed all along by a down-pitched vocal sometimes unstructured, which is the center of the track. 'Rainmaker' closes the EP as the only 4/4 track. With its robust kick and high BPM, it stands out and stands out from the rest. The main lead and the acid bassline leads the dance and almost tells a futuristic story as if propelled 100 years forward. The central and highest point of the track shows a euphoric and powerful synth. Artwork by Trudge. "and i will follow you through the dark night as we become together nocturnal animals..."
