For The Sheepdogs’ third studio album, the heralded Saskatoon-based swamp/garage rock quartet recruited bespectacled Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney to co-produce. Mixed by Tchad Blake (Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello), it’s an inspired coming-together of similarly spirited collaborators.
The Sheepdogs' first big break came in the summer of 2011, when the hard-touring Canadian band won a contest that put them on the cover of Rolling Stone, the first time the magazine had put an unsigned act on the front page.
