Half of this album contains George Martin\'s lush score for the animated film, and the other half contains the title track (originally released on *Revolver*), as well as two Eastern-tinged George Harrison numbers (\"Only a Northern Song\" and \"It\'s All Too Much\"). Lennon\'s rumbling \"Hey Bulldog,” and the infectious \"All Together Now” also add colorful touches that fit in with the animated film\'s enduring legacy.

The only minor album in the Beatles' catalogue is this soundtrack to a feature-length cartoon, a project with which the Beatles had little involvement.
