The Wishing Machine

This two-track EP captures a pivotal moment in time for Teleplasmiste, presenting recordings that emerged from sessions and live performances that eventually became Frequency is the New Ecstasy. In December 2015 our debut release, 'Radioclast E.R.A (112hz)', appeared on a Holectics Recordings cassette, split with A.A.S, in an edition of 30 copies. A heavily edited and reworked version of Radioclast later appeared on our House of Mythology album Frequency Is The New Ecstasy. To celebrate the Holectics release, A.A.S., Teleplasmiste and audio-visual artist Leslie Deere performed at London’s Apiary Studios on 17 December. The Wishing Machine presents a live recording of our performance, as well as a remastered version of the original Radioclast track, which was recorded live in the studio that October. We’d like to thank Graham Dunning of A.A.S. for inviting us to contribute to the cassette, organising the original gig and recording our performance, Pond Scum Light Show for their spectacular organic visuals, Ely Grey for filming the night.
