Currents B-Sides & Remixes

More than two years after its release, Kevin Parker has revisited Tame Impala’s third LP, *Currents*, splashing three B-sides and two remixes onto a canvas already flooded by brilliant, colorful sound. Each track adds new texture: “List of People (To Try and Forget About)” is all dreamy, neon melodies and chunky synths, “Powerlines” is a hypnotic, instrumental slow-burner, and “Taxi’s Here” is sparse and spacey. Both remixes push it even further, particularly Soulwax’s take on “Let It Happen,” almost 10 minutes of sonic magic so utterly visceral, you don’t just hear it—you fall right into it.
