Rapid Fire
A trap-minded rapper in the same vein as T.I. and Young Jeezy but with a machine-gun flow somewhere between Tech N9ne and Twista, T-Rock came from College Park, Ga., before linking with Three 6 Mafia and relocating to Memphis. After appearing on several Hypnotized Minds projects, he left the label and returned to his independent hustle. He\'s released several locally popular albums over the years, including *Da Kush*, *War Wounds*, *Rock Solid/4:20*, and *I Grind, I Hustle*. Now he returns with the aptly titled *Rapid Fire*, another solid effort loaded with freaky keyboards, gigantic bass drops, bright 808s, and swift verses about moving product, assassinating rivals, staying lit, and collecting that paper. Though his production and general themes aren\'t exactly pushing the envelope, his lightning-quick flow continues to impress. Don\'t miss \"Watch Me Juug,\" \"Ride Out (Remix),\" or the romantic rap \"Wanna Be High.\"
