No Magic Man
From Mathieu Duval's "My Record Collection" website: "A very dark and creepy album this time which reminds me somewhat of the esoteric aesthetics of french electronic composer Igor Wakhevitch. When The 1st Degree fades in after the bizarre spoken word intro with it's heavy guitar riff and cheesy keyboards and flute, you couldn't be blamed for thinking this was some sort of obscure forgotten seventies stoner rock record which was discovered in somebody's garage. I really like the uh... prose on uh... The Air Itself. After the release of The Secret In Disguise, it's fun to hear the group really pushing the psychedelic envelope to it's limit and this record, even though it is quite different to it's predecessor, is as able to liquefy your brain matter. Yer Own Eyes & The Number None sounds once again like something International Harvester could have done thirty years ago (without copying). This is another great album well worth seeking out."
