Glok
From Matieu Duval's 'My Record Collection' website: 'The last installment in Sunburned's "G" series is even more fucked up than any of it's sister releases. Again, electronic instruments feature abundantly, like Klaus Schultze after a night of binge drinking, but it isn't rare for the band to suddenly shift towards heavier and freer territory. Although every track is meant to blend in seamlessly with each other, as if the album were one long track, there so much change going on here that Glok could easily have been divided up into hundreds of different tracks. One of the coolest moments on the album is the sudden blast of Black Sabbath/Melvins-like fury on the second track (all are untitled). The seventh track is also quite amazing with it's Add N To (X) on valium quality. This track is (of course) followed by a skeletal, upbeat no wave pop tune with Mrs. Kerry, the local church lady on the casio organ. Weird and unpredictable Sunburned schisms which will definitely please the fans.'
