Exile on Broadway
Sunburned Hand of the Man - Exile on Broadway MH176 - Archival Release - Recorded October 29, 1999 For a brief period 22 years ago, Sunburned was banished from the Loft. We had nowhere to jam. We tried out a space in Everett but it was a very short-lived ratbox. We ended up doing a few "quiet" sessions at my triple-decker apartment at 1277 Broadway, Somerville, Ma, shared by Naomi Dooge, Cousin Rich, and myself. Eventually, jamming at the apartment ended the night we went full-blizzard because Thela's Guy Treadgold was in town from NZ and drove the third floor neighbor out of his mind. Sometime after that we got let back into the Loft. The memory is very hazy on those times. From what I can hear on this tape, the music was played by Dave Bohill, Chad Cooper, Cousin Rich, Rob Thomas and myself. This was recorded live to cassette and never listened to until now.
