A Taste of Never
From Mathieu Duval's 'My Record Collection' website: 'I had to dish out the big bucks to get a copy of this one. I don't know how many copies there are of this album (the group are known to release the same album in different editions), but my copy which comes with a poster by band member HEXIT (MjK) is limited to only 32 copies (!!). Only two extended jams on this album, but if you like the group at their most exotic and mind-expanding, then this is not to be missed. The first track reminds me of Tago Mago-era Can, especially the Damo Suzuki-like vocal rants of the first track. The jams shift gears often enough to keep your attention throughout. At times it will pound away in your ears like a violent tribal ceremony, begging you to get up and dance yourself into a frenzied trance while at others, the music's LSD-tinged sounds will peel away your cerebral cortex so you may feast at the goo inside. Completely fried music for the completely fried individuals out there. Finger licking good stuff'
