Halfawake

Taking influence from shoegaze, IDM, and vocaloid music, “Halfawake” is the debut mini-album from Strawberry Hospital. “Halfawake” is an idealistic expression of abandoning persistent depressive feelings and maintaining a sense of purpose during periods of melancholy. When it is difficult to appreciate yourself, or when sleeping masks itself as placebo pills for our anxieties, inspiration and joy must come from the simplicity of what is right around us.
