The result is a lush collection of far-reaching R&B and Taylor’s most personal work to date. Opener “Hard Liquor” chronicles the beginnings of a wild romance. “This whole record was like a lesson for me to just be like, ‘You know what? If you like it, just do it,” he told Beats 1’s Zane Lowe. “Don\'t try and hide anything or think too hard about it. If it feels right, just do it.’”
