Pitchfork 6.6/10 On his ninth album, like a hip-hop Tom Petty, Snoop continues to deliver more of the same MOR, easy-on-the-ears stuff: His sing-song purr sinking deep into lush, smooth, low-key tracks.
All Music 3.5/5 Snoop's transition from hungry gangster to laid-back celebrity and idea man is going much better than expected.
Slant 3/5 On the album, Snoop tries to reconcile his past with his newfound family-man status.
