Back in the early \'90s, the NYC duo of Showbiz & AG were putting out straight classic material. After appearing on Lord Finesse\'s *Funky Technician*, they dropped their debut EP, *Soul Clap*, setting the stage for their monumental full-length, *Runaway Slave*. Founding members of the legendary D.I.T.C. crew, they made hip-hop the old-fashioned way: with turntables, SP-1200s, and battle-honed rhyme skills, sharing the mic with like-minded cats such as Big L, Diamond D, and Fat Joe. They\'ve been steadily recording ever since, but despite their iconic status they\'ve never crossed over to commercial airplay. And it\'s been a minute since they\'ve done a full album together. *Preloaded* is a mixtape to get heads ready for their new album, *Mugshot Music*, released exactly 20 years after their much-loved debut LP.
