So Far So Close - Creative Duets during the Lockdown
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RG2DXMgv9I So Far So Close is the meeting between Sergio Sorrentino and some of the greatest musicians of the contemporary and experimental international music scene. These are duets born during the lockdown, as a creative reaction to the closure and composed/recorded remotely from March to April. Free and creative collaborations that combine Sorrentino's guitar with the most different sound worlds (from the United States to Japan). They range from Psychedelia with John King to Ambient music with Machinefabriek (a deep soundscape of deserted streets during the lockdown days) and Electroacoustic experimentation with Elliott Sharp, Usui Yasuhiro and Scott Fields. There is also room for Contemporary classical sonic research (Van Stiefel, Stefano Taglietti, Roberto Zanata) and for Dark Ambient music with the She Spread Sorrow’s wonderful voice.
