Once lost, momentum is often difficult to recover – a plight New York's School of Seven Bells must by now be familiar with. While 2008 debut Alpinisms jetted the former three-piece into the stratosphere, its follow up, Disconnect From Desire, saw their status dip toward also-ran territory. Now a duo (sans Alejandra Deheza's identical twin, Claudia) on album number three, SVIIB once again struggle to regain the firm foothold of their initial offering.

Now a duo after the departure of keyboardist/vocalist Claudia Deheza, one would assume that School of Seven Bells entered their third album Ghostory at a disadvantage. As it turns out, having one less member barely makes an impact on the band's sound.
