The Japanese ambient folk artist’s fourth album is awash in the sounds of the outside world—birdsong, wind, rushing water—while her hushed singing and acoustic guitar signal meditative stillness.

Aesthetically cohesive, Satomimagae's Taba consists of many sounds and feelings. It's geometrically organic and takes her even further afield in invigorating ways.
