Roll Dann makes it a hat trick of releases on Soma with this, his 3rd for the label and first physical release, the Save The Energy EP. The prolific Spanish based Roll Dann once again treats us to his signature, deep and rolling techno sound that has seen him becoming a firm favourite of many a DJ throughout the scene. Title track Save the Energy breathes life into this latest EP as a solid pace is set from the start with this deep, rolling and driving opener. Things intensify even more as the thundering percussive workout of Mago pushes ever forward. Taking a more deep and hypnotic turn, Easy Places rolls out with looped out synths and space age pads. Closing out the EP, Crash Birth takes things back up a notch. Driving drums and hypnotic synths create the backbone, constantly mutating and evolving as the track builds to a powerful conclusion.
