Deeper Than Rap

Slant 3/5 Rick Ross cannot expect anyone to take the title of his third album, Deeper Than Rap, with even a grain of credulity.

RapReviews.com 8.5/10 While a lot of Ross’s gangsta rings false in the face of the allegations regarding his personal life, his album certainly doesn’t suffer for it. It’s essentially a gangster movie on wax, and Ross is excellent in his role as the boss at the top of the heap with nothing to lose but his cool.
