The Malignant Fire

In keeping with their tradition of following almost all of their full-lengths with EPs, Swedish political punks Refused deliver a five-track blast to chase 2019’s *War Music*. *The Malignant Fire* kicks off with the *War Music* cut “Malfire” before detouring into an anti-fascist adaptation of EDM trio Swedish House Mafia’s 2012 electro hit “Greyhound” called “Born on the Outs.” The three remaining tracks are new Refused originals, including the staccato “Organic Organic Organic (Go F\*\*k Yourself),” the appropriately repetitive “Faceless Corporate Violence,” and the slash-and-burn “Jackals Can’t Be Bothered to Dream.”
