Nature System

RamonPang’s progressive inclusion of glimmering electronica, IDM and abstract elements into his explosive beats has not gone unnoticed in 2021. Ramon's debut album "Nature System" is a deep and cosmic self-portrait painted with a technicolor-palette, expanding on dance structures and musical paths that can stumble into either tighter rhythms, or more abstraction. “Re-Entering in the Atmosphere” and “Shimmer'' slow the album to a meditative, blissful state, while “Indoor Sunset” and “Overview Effect” rip the album open with distorted bass drums and sharp granular synths. “Nature System” explores the line between the organic and digital realms, originally written to aid Ramon with the anxiety he felt having to leave his Internet-connected apartment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ten tracks are vignettes of clean, pure representations of the stratosphere, the ocean and the jungle. Physical scenes overlaid with synthesized digital sheens.
