We originally dropped this in September 2011 and as time passed and hindered by a label situation which wasn't ideal it fell to the wayside and easily became the most obscured release in either of our catalogs. After some consideration we both felt this deserved a re-vamping on our own terms. We added all the wonderful remixes we received from the homeys back when and Green fired up the instros for your collections. We certainly haven't forgotten those who rocked with us back when it dropped either and all the places we were able take it. We have both certainly progressed artistically in ways we hadn't foreseen but it's nice to look back at an accurate snapshot of how we were living and what we were seeing all those years ago. I remember writing a great deal of it during a life-altering tour throughout Europe. Green would send a pack and I'd finagle wi-fi long enough to download it and work from all sorts of liquor soaked locations so long as they'd have me. In a lot of ways we were just figuring out how to craft a record and learning the rest as we went. We've long picked up and put down the follow-up record a couple different timse as we have simply forged such a diversity of musical paths and interests the stars haven't aligned like we wanted. But rest assured we will bang out the proper follow up when the time is right. Our musical fates our still firmly intertwined... shit, I am on my way to record with Green first thing tomorrow. Tribulation and things not going the way we planned aside, this record brings back fond memories and although I hear the novice in some of my intonations and attempts at times I love what we accomplished and I love where and how we grew from it. We are both happy and healthy guys who took time to get to where we are. Green had the hard parts figured out before I did. I needed a few more highways and heartaches before I could settle into comfort. Many have came and went since but we are still here and both more driven than ever. We hope this project finds your ears of it never did before and you're staying safe and sane as can be. Until next time, Prem
