Pillow Queens exhibit an understated confidence on sophomore album Leave The Light On
Formed in 2016, Pillow Queens' rise to prominence in Ireland and the U.K. came quickly, as they received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and began selling out shows in their native Dublin on the basis of a pair of EPs, even before delivering their Ireland-charting debut album, In Waiting, in September 2020.
That’s the question the sophomore album from Irish rock four-piece Pillow Queens attempts to answer across it’s 44-minute run-time; and through a concoction of stadium-ready choruses, shrieking guitars and heavenly vocal arrangement it does so with aplomb.
Ireland's Pillow Queens double down on the promise and potential of their debut with the enormous sophomore effort, 'Leave the Light On'.
