Cosmo
Offering scarcely any notice to his legions of fans, Ozuna announced *Cosmo* just days before its arrival. Rest assured, nothing about the Puerto Rican superstar’s sixth solo album feels rushed or hasty; instead it’s an exemplar of his holistically melodic approach. In contrast with the Afrobeats escapades of the preceding *Afro* EP, this 15-song set focuses primarily on reggaetón while making space for other adjacent dance-floor-friendly sounds. His *Los Dioses* cohort Anuel AA returns for the tropically tinged “Pa Ti Estoy,” while the Sky Rompiendo-produced “El Plan” adds Plan B veteran Chencho Corleone to the progressive mix. Even without guests, his silken voice elevates the synth-laden thump of “Baccarat” as well as the comparatively airier “Clase Azul” and “Mar De Lágrimas.”
