Summer Ghost

Otik returns to his Solar Body imprint with radiant new EP ‘Summer Ghost’, out on the 5th February. The titular first single out on the 11th January features a club-ready, dancehall inspired beat with easy-listening sparkling melodies, filtered vocal swells and shuffling drums - demonstrating his talent for creating music that can span across a spectrum of genres. The next single ‘Hyperborea’, out on 25th January, is another example of his divergent sound, tipping more into the chilled out, blissful tone of his catalogue whilst driving alongside skippy two-step percussions. Further EP tracks ‘Angel Farm’ and ‘Enchant’ (created alongside friend and collaborator Tom VR) are more spectral sounding, minimal yet intricate pieces of music that round off the body of work as tracks that are equally visceral club music and sentimental home- listening. Otik’s ‘Summer Ghost’ drops on the 11th January via digital download and streaming platforms, followed by ‘Hyperborea’ on the 25th January.
