Aldhils Arboretum
Originally released in 2002, Aldhils Arboretum was a departure for of Montreal. Rather than building songs around concepts, the band chose to concentrate specifically on the development and writing of each song. Such an effort results in one of of Montreal's most focused and polished works. The cover art is one of David Barnes' most well-known paintings.
