Nothing's Ever Fine

Elise Okusami's sophomore foray as Oceanator, Nothing's Ever Fine, continues in the vein of 2020's apocalypse-minded Things I Never Said.

On Nothing’s Ever Fine’s infectiously upbeat lead single, “Bad Brain Daze,” Oceanator (aka Elise Okusami) provides an apt description of living with depression: “there’s a fog on the horizon/I can’t see but I feel it comin’ on/drops like a bomb.”

Nothing’s Ever Fine by Oceanator sounds like everything and nothing at the same time. It's well-crafted, but a little too derivative to stick
