Kaiseki
KAISEKI is a traditional Japanese meal containing many different kinds of things in small amounts. The same thing happens in KAISEKI by Niemoc. It starts with the raw post-punk track, ‘Alkohole’, with distorted guitars and rugged synth and almost immediately turns into soundscapes inspired by 80's ambient and 70's krautrock in ‘Miasto Meksyk’. When the urge to dance cannot be contained anymore, the music calms down in ‘Lilla Weneda’ and gives the listener a chance to take a breath, climaxing with a rave-urging noise. Afterwards ‘Prawo Jazdy’ takes you for an easy ride through an electronic land. The whole EP is quite different from the usual Niemoc’s dancable sound, but the cover art is still cut out in previously well known style.
