Myke Towers reliably knows how to feed the streets. Though it’s been a minute since his trap-centric 2021 full-length *LYKE MIKE*, the Puerto Rican star keeps dropping singles across a variety of styles to keep his fans satisfied. A welcome stopgap EP, *Icy Hot* taps into a rugged loverman mode befitting its Valentine’s Day release. “Solo $exo” kicks things off with hip-hop energy, allowing the rapper to spit proficiently about his desires and lustful intentions. Later, he counters the slo-mo reggaetón throb of “Gallery Dept.” with the feverishly thumping “Postre,” both tracks primed for an inevitable intimacy.
