Evinta
DOUBLE ALBUM OF SYMPHONIC RECORDINGS ARRANGED TO THE SOUNDSCAPES OF SORROWS PAST FROM THE UK DOOM TITANS To commemorate their first two decades of existence, My Dying Bride re-worked melodies and themes in 2011 from their extensive back catalogue into epic, flowing symphonic compositions, incorporating new vocals and passages from Aaron Stainthorpe and French Opera singer Lucie Roche. The arrangements were created in collaboration with keyboard maestro Johnny Maudling (of Bal Sagoth fame) and a collective of gifted classical musicians, the result has been titled 'Evinta'.
For a band who has released a total of ten full-length albums in 20 years, gothic doom metal act My Dying Bride has gotten maximum mileage out of its catalog.
