Over the course of his *Federal* and *Heartless* mixtape series, Moneybagg Yo has proven himself one of Memphis’ most consistent street reporters. The drawl is thick with Memphis slang, and if “Dice Game,” the opener from the *Bet On Me* EP, tells us anything, it’s that he runs with folks who like to shake ’em up. Comparing his life to a dice game, the MC utilizes gambling terminology to break down how he inevitably comes out on top. The inclusion of M-Town’s hottest producer Tay Keith on five of *Bet On Me*’s nine tracks certainly stacks the odds in Yo’s favor. Rap upstarts Gunna and Lil Baby show up to talk money-chasing (“Wat U On”) and the dope game (“No Cutt”), but Moneybagg Yo is also willing to take off his cool as he does on “Luv Cycle,” detailing early-relationship butterflies.
