Marshmello’s catalog simply overflows with collaborations. Transcending the melodic and enigmatic EDM of his auspicious 2016 debut *Joytime*, his subsequent singles with so many of hip-hop, R&B, and pop’s finest made the helmet-wearing DJ/producer bigger than any one scene or sound. Following years of sweet one-offs with Spanish-language artists, he delivers a proper album that marries his outsized aesthetic with that of the rich and vibrant Latin music community. Recent singles like the seismic “El Merengue” with Manuel Turizo and the “Pepas”-nodding “Esta Vida” with Farruko join fresher cuts with the likes of Nicky Jam, Luísa Sonza, and ChocQuibTown. Even with that level of regional diversity, some of *Sugar Papi*’s best moments come in his team-ups with reggaetón and trap stars, via Anuel AA’s thumping “Alcohol” and Young Miko’s booming “Tempo.”
