Contra La Corriente

*Salsa* doesn\'t get more seductive than on Marc Anthony\'s fourth LP. The opening ballad, \"Y Hubo Alguien,\" makes it clear that he has the romantic flair of a great pop singer, and he displays that throughout the album. The tempos never get too fast nor the arrangements too cluttered; this is music for dancing very close. The production also borrows from pop: \"Me Voy a Regalar\" features string synthesizers alongside horns and Latin percussion. Even the upbeat \"Si Te Vas\" keeps his voice upfront.
