This swashbuckling supergroup featuring Tool’s Danny Carey on drums and Mastodon’s Brent Hinds on guitar resurrects the conceptual, nautical prog-metal album. Much like the briny deep, *Legend of the Seagullmen* is unapologetic and punishing as it is beautiful and pristine.
