Melodic Hardcore
Noteable
They may not have achieved the success of Green Day or Offspring, but SoCal\'s Lagwagon were very much a part of the \'90s punk rebirth—and unlike so many of their peers, they\'re still at it. On their eighth studio album (and first since 2005\'s *Resolve*), the group slow things down a notch, with many songs resembling Foo Fighters more than classic punk (the driving verse of \"Made of Broken Parts” is particularly Grohl-ian). But Lagwagon can still rile up a mosh pit. \"One More Song\" intercuts frenetic punk drums with a swinging interlude, and \"Burning Out in Style,\" in addition to winking at the band\'s tenure, has plenty of heft.
