This may be the Man in Black\'s only LP recorded specifically for young\'uns, but that\'s not to say its songs lack edge: \"Nasty Dan\" lives up to its title and \"Call of the Wild\" is about animals trying to escape human cruelty. Cash enunciates the lyrics slowly and gently, like he’s reading a picture book. The songs are often closer to nursery rhymes than typical country fare, and you can almost hear him smiling as he turns the page.
