SCORES: COMPOSED INSTRUMENTALS is an instrumental version of Jherek Bischoff's critically acclaimed album COMPOSED (picked as one of 2012's best albums by WNYC's John Schaefer and praised by the likes of NewMusicBox, Pitchfork and KEXP). For the note nerds out there, we are also selling PDFs of the album's scores with the instrumental MP3s. $15 for the whole MP3 album + PDF scores, or $2 to $3 for an individual MP3 + score. You may even want to upload your performances of these pieces to YouTube. (Hint! Hint!) Without the vox of David Byrne, Caetano Veloso and the other luminaries who feature on the original COMPOSED album, SCORES offers a new and rewarding way to explore Jherek's work as a composer, arranger and producer. It's like scraping off a lovely painting and finding an entirely new lovely painting underneath.
