Israeli violinist Itzhak Perlman is perhaps the most adored instrumentalist of the 20th century. If anyone of his generation can match him as a violinist, though, it is his countryman Pinchas Zukerman, who is also that rare animal, a violinist who performs with equal flair on the viola. It is hard to imagine a better team, then, in Mozart\'s two masterpieces for dual string soloists and orchestra, the *Sinfonia Concertante* for violin and viola and the *Concertone* for two violins. On these shimmering live performances, Perlman and Zukerman are superbly supported by Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic.
