For Guided by Voices, reuniting wasn't a case of making a quick buck before disappearing again. They're back for the long haul, as proven by last year's trilogy of albums, which they now follow with a typically bizarre, extemporaneous EP-- ahead of another album, naturally.

Despite the fact that they released three fully realized albums and a handful of singles in 2012, Ohio's chronic song sculptors Guided by Voices promptly began 2013 with Down by the Racetrack, an EP's worth of new material to lead into another year of constant output.
