"Zion Canyon has a mystical quality inside it’s massive walls, one that invites you into a world of ancient wisdom thru the generations of time. To me Zion Canyon has a sacred earth quality to it and you can feel the presence of a silent angel with you. This is what i felt being there, playing the flute and exploring the space to inspire the natural rhythms of the music before returning to the studio. Again like all my recordings are studio first takes in the moment. My unique one of a kind Native American replicated flutes were used with earth like percussion to accent the haunting melodies by my long standing percussionist David Revelli who helped capture the sound of Zion."
