Slave to Nothing

Fit for a King follow up their 2013 breakthrough *Creation/Destruction* with an even more intense slice of metalcore mayhem that seethes with both raw power and finely-honed precision. Brutal breakdowns, jackhammer tempos and lacerating guitar work are counterpointed against the mighty one/two punch of Ryan Kirby’s harsh vocals and Bobby Lynge’s clean singing. *Slave to Nothing* is particularly impressive lyrically, with “A Greater Sense of Self” and the title tune striking deep chords of Christian sacrifice and redemption.
